Yes, I thought her "insta-love" crush on Gage was a bit much, but it didn't bother me that much. I liked the female MC Tatum in the first book. I don't know if I just didn't notice it in the first book, or if it wasn't as bad, but this book became SO high school "ish" that it really began to bother me. Then, for some reason, this book just started hitting me the wrong way.
